Each batch is handmade, with no artificial colors or high-fructose corn syrup. Since 2014, we’ve been creating celiac-friendly caramel corn snacks that are as wholesome as they are delicious.

My Story
For years, I made my original caramel flavor at home as Christmas gifts for friends and family. One year, I decided to switch things up — instead of the usual gift bags, I filled festive buckets with my caramel-coated creation. The response was overwhelming! The following holiday season, everyone showed up with their empty buckets, hoping for refills — and that’s when Carmel Yum Yums was born.
In 2014, I became officially licensed in a commercial kitchen and began selling at local farmers markets and wholesaling to stores. What started as a small holiday tradition quickly grew into a full-fledged business built on passion, creativity, and community support.
Just a year later, in 2015, Carmel Yum Yums earned statewide recognition. I received the SPARK Award for innovative ideas in Genesee County and the Re:con BOOM Award for Disabled Entrepreneur of the Year in the State of Michigan — an incredible honor that celebrated both perseverance and possibility.
By 2016, I had grown enough to lease my own commercial space — a dream come true that allowed me to share Carmel Yum Yums with even more snack lovers across Michigan and beyond.
